What I collect

Only what you give me: your name, contact details, and whatever you tell me in order to get an answer.

There are no accounts on this site and comments are closed.

What I use it for

Answering your question, and preparing a quote or a tax return if you ask for one. Nothing else.

Who else sees it

Only in two cases: to an insurer, when you apply for a policy; or where the law requires it.

It is not sold, traded, or given to advertisers.

Where it is kept

This website is hosted on servers in Canada and has no forms — it does not collect your personal information itself.

Whatever you send me by email, phone or WeChat is handled and kept by me personally.

How long I keep it

Tax records for six years, as CRA requires. Insurance records as long as the insurer and the regulator require. Everything else is deleted when it is no longer needed.

What you can ask for

You can ask to see what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email info@zyfinancial.ca.

If you think I have handled your information badly, contact me first. If that does not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Cookies

This site sets a single cookie: it remembers your language choice for one year. There are no advertising trackers and no analytics.
